About

Host – Megan Gipson, LCSW, Ed.M
Prior to developing The Family Brain Podcast, Megan worked with youth and adults in a variety of mental health settings in Massachusetts and Texas. Through the course of that work, she noticed that most issues seem to impact the entire family system, and from that The Family Brain concept was born. The Family Brain Podcast provides research, resources, tips, and life hacks to help keep the “Family Brain” healthy.

Megan earned her BA in Psychology from Georgetown University and followed that with a Master in Education from Harvard University and a Masters in Social Work from Boston College.  In addition to her work hosting The Family Brain, Megan is co-founder of Project Brave, a non profit organization that educates children about healthy relationships throughout life.

Megan’s “Family Brain” includes three children, a husband, a dog, three sisters, parents, in-laws, cousins and friends.
